I finally have gotten courage up to tackle this kit, not much to it - parts or detail. I actually started this at the beginning of May but the scheme I had chosen from a Modeldecal sheet has all the main Squadron markings but none of the stencils, roundels or white lettering. The markings from the kit were out of the question, so I put her back in the box until the decals arrived last week. After assembly, during which I managed to knock in all 4 cabin windows, I sprayed and masked the grey-blue using Humbrol #77, and golden yellow using Humbrol #154. I have just given her a few coats of Klear, so she will be ready for decalling soon.

A quick update on the results of last weekends decalling. I used the main marking for the Modeldecal sheet #99, the codes from other Modeldecal stencil sheets, and the exhuast and window warnings from the kit sheet. The roundels came from a sheet supplied free on one of the 2004 Finescale Modeller magazines. Should have this build completed by the end of the weekend.
