The story so far. Last Sunday I dug out some old MDF cuttings and some acrylic rod and set about rigging a couple of bases for the in-flight displays. Bending the rods was a reasonable success - not quite round but good enough. Then I drilled out the burner cans, and expoyed some cutoff tubes (Creative SB speaker stands) to the back. All I have to do when nearly finished, is expoy the cans in place and slide onto the rods.
This how the cats look at the moment. The VF-74 bird is in the front, and just having the forward fuselage glued on, I will wait until tomorrow to clean the seams.

Major paintwork done and parts now Kleared for decals.

Decals applied, now waiting for them to dry out before sealing them, ready for an oil wash.
