Finally major construction finished - now on to the paint. After spraying the Alclad on the leading edges and gun port over the weekend, I masked off these areas and the canopies. Glued the windshield and fixed the canopy with white glue for the main spraying. After spraying the canopy matt black at midday, I have just sprayed the undersides white (Humbrol #130).
Heres the plastic tree farm for all five kits on the bench.

Painting 99.9% done, just tyres and touch-ups to do, after decalling and washes done. I have given her a couple of light coats of Future ready for decalling. Will start tomorrow.
After completeing the decals, I cleaned all parts with distilled water on a kitchen towel. This was left to dry and then more coats of Future applied. I then used a wash of Winsor & Newtons Burnt Sienna and Dist. Eng. Turps. After leaving it to dry overnight, I came in the next day to discover that it looked too orange (should have stuck with the Raw Umber). So I applied some dark brown chalk pastels to take off the orange slightly. After some more cleanup today heres what I have so far. I shall start finishing of tonight.
