Good start. After dipping the canopy and windscreen last night, I sat down to start on the sub-assemblies. This older Wolfpack boxing was selected as the box was falling to bits, unfortunately the beavertail supplied is only the original shaped one with the dielectric panels (Sprue L). I have had to ferret through my stash and find the newer Wolfpack boxing, which I know has both and pinch the newer beavertail (Sprue K).

After two months, all I have to show is the Aires pits nearly finished fitting. It was very difficult to find the motivation to crack on, what with work and the decidely cold weather. As can be found on the Completed 2010 section, I have knocked out a quick Airfix build to try to help. So far these kits are still to one side of the bench, but I hope to dig them back out again as the weather steadily improves.

I think I can say, unless it is a really special build, I shall not be fitting any resin pits in these Hasegawa kits again - it just drains the enthusiam out of me, for not much gain.

Basic painting of the cockpits is completed, so hopefully construction should now go quicker.

I finally finished the builds off yesterday, but I wasn't happy with the photos (also with the gusts of wind I nearly lost both ), so had another session this afternoon.

I would have straightened up the Sparrows, but with the gusts of winds I was more intent on stopping the Cat from falling over.
