After a long weekend I was finally able to remove the masking and reveal the last couple of days work. Paints used were:-

Light Grey FS36622 Model Master #1733
Light Blue FS3540 Humbrol #47
White Alclad II White Primer and Microfiller #ALC306
Black Alclad II Black Primer and Microfiller #ALC309

I finally finished the builds off yesterday, but I wasn't happy with the photos (also with the gusts of wind I nearly lost both ), so had another session this afternoon.

I also tried a technique, where you take two photos, but you move the camera two inches to one side, to simulate the distance between your eyes. You then load up both pictures into the free program StereoPhoto Maker to create the following image.

When you load up the fullsize image, cross your eyes and then gradually uncross them. As you do so, the two images will hopefully merge in to one and create a "3D" image. There are other methods to creating the "stereo images" which I hope to try out in the future. If you follow the above link, you will find a lot of samples and explanations of how to go about creating your own "Stereo images"
