in the final stages of this build. After a Pollyscale flat coat sealed in the decals a water/clay wash was applied. The final detail painting was then finished and the lights, undercarriage and weapons were applied.
During the construction and painting of the wingfolds, I have managed to knock off the complete set of attachment points on one wing, so I have quickly knocked up some wing supports tubes from brass rod and tubing (dimensions based on the parts in the 1/72 Italeri Intruder), and hopefully this should be able to support the wings.
So apart from the wingfolds, I just have to attach the remainder of the PE from the Verlinden set to the cockpit rear decking. I took these photos now because over the course of the last few days getting to this point I have been knocking things off, so a few shots just in case its first flight just happens to be into a wall![]()
It took a few tries but I finally managed to get the wingfolds completed, so here is the finished build.
and a final Group shot of all three aircraft from the MAW decal sheet.
