Spray Booth Mk2

BackHome

After a year of using a cardboard box and a shower fan, I decided that a new spray booth was in order.

After searching the net for a suitable sized booth, I found it would cost over £600 to buy a ready-made booth. So after numerous mentions on ARC on successful builds by other modellers, I decided to build my own.

First I went to my local DIY store and purchased a wall mounted cooker hood (£50). I then measured it up and worked out what size MDF sides would be required, went back to the DIY store and got them to cut the boards for me (£17). After purchasing new Aluminimum ducting (£30) and other essentials (£5), I put them altogether.

Total Cost = £102
Time Taken = 3 Hours

Here is the result.
