A quick build using Sweets excellent F4F Wildcat FM2 with flight deck. Assembly was a doddle and finished with in a hour. I used Xtracyrlix paints for the main colours and Humbrol for the Black and cockpit green. I tried applying the camo freehand using my Iwata but I was getting to much overspray, so I masked using Blu-Tac. Kit decals were applied and went on with no problems at all. Last was to add the IFF and wingtip Nav lights using Tamiya Clear Red, Green and Yellow. The last stage was to paint the flight deck. Again I used Xtracyrlix and finished it with a Pollyscale Flat Varnish coat.
