Four hours of cleanup, test fitting and glueing. As mentioned above there were some (not many) airbubble holes, but a quick dab of CA filled them. As of yet Ive not glued the fins or brass tubes, because I need to watch the DVDs again to get the right positions. I know any excuse
. Heres a shot of her so far.

Well after nearly 8 months of watching the Thunderbirds DVDs I finally plucked up the courage to apply some paint.
Starting to look like a TB3 to me
I think I may have gone a bit over the top with the post shading, but I think I have tinkered with this kit long enough now. I will complete the remaining paint details and then have a go at the decals.

Finally done. Decals went on OK only requiring Micro Sol to bed the ALPS printed decals down. The reason for the 6 months delay was I have come to realise can't hand paint worth squat. The black ribs on the engine support struts were a pain to paint and before Xmas last year she was put to one side and left there until this morning, when I decided to finish her off.
