This show is my fifth this year. Elvington Airfield is just south of York, in Yorkshire. I arrived at about 8am and this is the first thing I saw...

looking good so far. Anyway we are let in just after 8:20am, park up and go wander. TIP: after a massive bout of rainstorms take wellys, my feet are still wet 3 hours after arriving back
. The airfield grass had turned back into the original marsh it was built on, but the weather looked good (and so we were told by the BBC Weatherman), was to be dry and sunny. (nope). Due to the afore mentioned weather a lot of aircraft actually turned up during the morning.
The show started with the Victor doing its taxi run (very impressive). The Buccaneer was also meant to do a taxi run, but technical issues prevented it.
After the Victor was parked back in its runway spot, The flying display was kicked off with the T28 Fennec in French Air Force markings. The show progressed very well until about half-past 3 when it started to rain. The planes kept flying of course, but I couldn't take any pictures due to my lens getting wet. When it stopped raining I managed to get a few more in before it really started to downpour so I packed up and sat in my car for the rest of the show.
All in all, a great show, only the weather letting it down.
Here are the links to the photos. (I had to brighten a few of the latter shots as the light progressively got worse.)
